I know some people probably saw my pre-wedding video on other blogs, on Chuva de Arroz from GNT or De tudo um pouco, from Rede Super, but of course I had to post it here, right?
I always loved photography, but it was during the preparations for our wedding that I fell In love with wedding videos. There was no doubt we wanted our story to be filmed for our own private wedding video (which ended up being not so private anyway, hahaha). I confess to you that I always knew I was privileged to have such a great love in my life, but it was only after watching this video I got a sense of how unique and blessed our story was!
We chose to do the shoot in Ouro Preto as the city was very present in our relationship. We loved to walk there, listen to some good jazz and feel the chill of the city. We didn’t plan too much on how it would look, as we just wanted a nice testimony of each one of us declaring our love for one another.
We arrived in Ouro Preto and it was VERY cold! More hopeless romance! We shot several scenes and it was so much fun! We even tried to turn off the cameras and just hang out a little bit. After recording some images it was time to record our testimonies. But we couldn’t find anywhere in the entire town that was quiet enough! We had the idea of going back to Belo Horizonte and trying to record it at home, but the microphone was still picking up too much noise. It was already getting dark and we began to despair. Our film-makers Fernando and Ademir were from São Paulo, and they had to leave that same day! Our last attempt was to go to a park well away from the busy streets. We arrived with only 30 minutes to get it sorted. We found the perfect place, and suddenly it started raining! “Oh, it would rain, of course!” I clearly remember my words. I knew that this testimony would be somewhat important to me, but I didn’t think it would make me cry or make me realise I was about to marry the best man I’ve ever met!
We made the recordings of our testimonies separately. When I met Henrique I ran to ask him: “Did you cry, my love? But he would not tell me, no way! He just said I’d see everything when the video was ready. I was suspicious that he wouldn’t be emotional. But I was very wrong, right? He cried a lot!
Some time passed and Fernando and Ademir told me that they thought it would be better to not see the video until the wedding day. That then we would have the same excitement of seeing it for the first time along with our guests. I was a little apprehensive to see if the video was going to be really good or would need to be adjusted but I decided to trust them. And it was one of the best things I ever did! It was very emotional watching that beautiful story that I could call my own! To see I had just married a man I was completely in love with made me realise I was born to love him and could not live without him.
When I see the photos of this moment that was so remarkable in my life I always get emotional! I’m not a cold person, of course. I looked around and saw everyone wiping their eyes. Some of my friends joke that those who didn’t cry during our vows at the ceremony wept during the video instead!

My tip is: if you can, make a pre-wedding video! If you don’t want to you don’t need to say anything. Love is the only language that is understood worldwide, which needs no words or gestures!

Sei que algumas pessoas provavelmente já viram o meu vídeo pré-wedding em outros blogs, no Chuva de Arroz do GNT ou no De tudo um pouco, da Rede Super, mas, claro que eu teria que postá-lo aqui né?
Sempre amei fotografia mas foi durante os preparativos do casório que me apaixonei pelos vídeos de casamento. Não tive dúvidas que queria nossa história contada em nosso filme de amor particular (que acabou não sendo tão particular assim hihihi). Confesso para vocês que sabia que era privilegiada por viver um grande amor, mas só após assistir esse vídeo pude ter noção de quão única e abençoada nossa história era!
Escolhemos fazer a filmagem em Ouro Preto pois a cidade esteve muito presente no nosso namoro. Adorávamos passear por lá, ouvir um bom jazz e sentir o friozinho da cidade. Não planejamos muito como seria, só queria que tivesse um depoimento bacana de cada um de nós declarando o seu amor.
Chegamos em OP e estava MUITO frio! Mais romântico impossível! Gravamos várias cenas e nos divertimos muito! Tentamos mesmo nos desligar das câmeras e namorar um pouquinho. Após gravar as imagens chegou a hora de gravar os depoimentos. Não encontramos nenhum lugar pela região que fosse silencioso! Tivemos a ideia de voltar para BH e tentar gravar em casa mesmo, mas o microfone também estava captando muito ruído. Já estava escurecendo e o desespero começou a bater. O Fernando e o Ademir que estavam filmando eram de São Paulo e tinham que ir embora naquele mesmo dia! Nossa última tentativa foi ir a um parque bem afastado do movimento. Entramos faltando 30 minutos para fechar o local. Encontramos o lugar perfeito, e de repente, começou a chover! “Ah, vai com chuva mesmo!”, lembro perfeitamente das minhas palavras. Sabia que esse depoimento seria de alguma forma importante para mim, mas não imaginava que me faria chorar e me fazer ter a certeza que tinha acabado de me casar com o melhor homem que já conheci!
Fizemos as gravações dos depoimentos separados. Quando encontrei o Henrique corri para perguntar: Você chorou amor? Mas ele não quis me contar de jeito nenhum! Disse apenas que eu veria tudo quando o vídeo ficasse pronto. Fiquei então desconfiada que ele tivesse se emocionado. Mas estava muito errada, né? Ele chorou e muito!
Um tempo se passou e o Fernando e Ademir me falaram que achavam melhor a gente não ver o vídeo até o dia do casamento. Que seria ótimo passarmos lá termos a emoção de ver pela primeira vez junto dos convidados. Estava um pouquinho apreensiva se o vídeo realmente teria ficado bom ou se precisaria ser ajustado mas decidi confiar neles. E foi uma das melhores coisas que já fiz! Foi emoção demais assistir aquela história linda que eu podia chamar de minha história! Ver que tinha acabado de me casar com um homem completamente apaixonado me fez refletir que tinha nascido para amá-lo e que não poderia viver sem ele.
Quando vejo as fotos desse momento que foi marcante na minha vida sempre me emociono! Não teve uma pessoa que não se emocionou. Olhei para o lado e vi todo mundo limpando os olhos. Alguns amigos meus brincam que quem não chorou com nossos votos na cerimônia chorou com o vídeo!

Minha dica é, se puderem, façam um vídeo pré-wedding! Se não quiserem nem precisam falar nada. O amor é a única linguagem que é compreendida mundialmente e que não precisa de palavras nem de gestos!
